| Inauguration of Department of Management Studies |
| With the aim of fostering the study of business management and administration, the Department of Management Studies was inaugurated at KIT on 29th August, 2008. The function was presided over by Dr. R. Vasanthkumar (Chairman & Managing Trustee , Karpagam Group of Institutions). The chief guest was Dr. V. Balakrishnan ( Director, Diatance- Education, Anna University, Coimbatore ) and the felicitation was given by Shri. K. Murugiah (CEO- Karpagam Group of Institutions).
